Gateway Lighting Feature Survey
The City of Richmond Hill is designing a gateway to welcome people to our community!
It will be a vertical lighting feature, installed on the median located south of the intersection at Yonge Street and Garden Avenue. The initiative to design and install a gateway feature to signify the entrance to Richmond Hill was identified as part of York Region’s 2012 Yonge Street South Streetscape Master Plan.
Below are examples to illustrate the kinds of vertical lighting features that might fit on the narrow traffic median.
