Council Meetings, Agendas and Minutes

 City facilities are open to the public to attend Council and Committee meetings beginning on March 22, 2022. Meetings will be held in a hybrid format, with participants joining in-person in Council Chambers at 225 East Beaver Creek Rd., and electronically by telephone or video conference.

Meetings will continue to be live-streamed and can be watched on the City of Richmond Hill’s YouTube channel. Please visit the Calendar for dates, times, and details of upcoming meetings. Assistive Listening System

We offer an assistive listening system in Council Chambers. Contact the Office of the Clerk to let us know in advance that you need to use this system. You can also speak with the Clerk's Office staff before the start of the meeting.

Each meeting date in the Calendar has a 'Details' option with access to the following reports and materials:

• Meeting minutes, subject to Council approval
• Meeting notices
• Link to any available recording of the meeting

Meeting reports and other materials for recent or upcoming meetings may not be immediately available online but will be posted as soon as practicable.

Procedure By-law

By-Law 125-23 governs the proceedings of Council and Committee meetings. By-law 125-23 came into effect on January 1, 2024 and replaced By-law 74-12.
