Adults 55+ Events and Activities
Memberships are required for all Adult 55+ programs including, drop-in programs, registered programs, events, and workshops. The cost for our Adults 55+ Membership is $33.98 for Richmond Hill residents, and $61.18 for non-residents. You can attend drop-in classes for $1.25 (Pickleball $3) with a general membership. | Seniors Coffee Chat: Crime Prevention - August 14 |

Date: Wednesday, August 14 As a recommendation by the Age Friendly Committee of Council, we are pleased to introduce our new Seniors Coffee Chat program. We will begin each session with interactive games so you can get to know fellow members of your community. Join us to discuss numerous crime prevention related topics like the Community Safety Data Portal, break and enter trends and vehicle theft. Complimentary refreshments will be provided. Pre-registration is required.

Grand River Cruise

Begin your day at “The Landing” with complimentary coffee and muffin plus shopping in the large Craft Shop. Enjoy an interesting audiovisual presentation about the Grand River followed by a fabulous live Music Show featuring “The Blazing Fiddles”. You will then embark on a 2.5 hour cruise featuring a sumptuous 3-course lunch. During your cruise, your captain gives an informative narration about the Grand River and refreshments are served before returning to the dock. A visit to the Dutch Country Market is also included.
All meals include home baked bread, garden salad, vegetables, mashed potatoes, home baked apples pie, and tea or coffee. Entree choice of beef, or chicken or vegetarian chili. Entrée selection is required upon booking. Please call the McConaghy Centre at 905-737-1818 with your selection.
Tickets are first-come, first-serve. Purchase your ticket by Thursday, August 15. No refunds will be issued after August 15.
